We must address the illegal immigration crisis affecting Idaho. Strong border security is essential, and our state must enforce our laws and stop becoming a magnet for illegal activity.
In the last session, strong immigration bills on E-Verify and cracking down on illegal employment passed the House but were buried in a Senate chairman’s “drawer.” This is unacceptable. As your representative, I will fight to bring these bills to the floor for an up-or-down vote and always prioritize Idahoans first.
I also recognize the workforce needs in our dairy industry. I support practical reforms, such as the Farm Workforce Modernization Act, to provide a legal, reliable guest-worker program for year-round agricultural jobs—while requiring E-Verify and rejecting amnesty.
Idaho’s safety, resources, schools, and way of life must come first. I will always put our citizens and legal residents ahead of special interests or political pressure.
